Photon Force specializes in time-resolved photon counting image sensors. Our mission is to provide innovative, high-quality, and accurate sensor technologies to promote accelerated research in fields such as biomedical imaging, quantum imaging, imaging through scattering media, single-photon LiDAR, and beyond. Our current camera, the PF32, consists of 1024 single-photon avalanche diode (SPAD) detectors in a 32*32 array. Each pixel has its own timing circuitry enabling the arrival of a single-photon to be time-tagged with an accuracy of 55 ps. With a small form-factor and a simple USB3 connection, it can easily be integrated into your setup.
MPD contribute in the field of photon counting detectors, circuits and applications – including: design and production of Single Photon Counting Avalanche Diodes, “SPAD”, fabricated either using custom silicon, standard CMOS or InGaAs/InP technologies Active Quenching IC development. Often integrated with PicoQuant photon counting instruments.

Wavelength References designs and manufactures products that use precise molecular energy levels to enable performance unavailable by any other means. A key product family is sealed gas cells which are used as wavelength calibration tools in optical spectrum analyzers and other optical instruments, as local references in sensing systems, or in many research or calibration functions. Another product line is lasers which use gas cells to provide unparalleled wavelength stability and linewidth reduction. Such lasers find use as primary frequency standards and in interferometric sensing.
Established in 1999, APIC Corporation is both a research and development center as well as a manufacturer of commercial lasers and photodetectors. APIC’s core business and IP is in compound semiconductor research, device design, chip fabrication, and module packaging. From 2004 to 2017 APIC had a prime contract with the US Navy and DARPA, total funding exceeding $100M, to develop technology and prototype Highly Integrated Photonics (HIP) devices. The goal of this work was the fabrication and prototyping of HIP devices for electronic warfare, electronic surveillance and communications, applications which require extremely high fidelity (very low noise, high dynamic range and highly linearity) transmission of broadband analog signals over fiber. Presently, APIC continues to perform advanced research and development while leveraging its technological successes to manufacture the highest performing devices for commercial and scientific applications.
